On May 19 and 20, we were in Milan as official sponsors of AI Week 2026, one of Europe's leading events on artificial intelligence and its business applications. Two intense days — between the stage and our booth — that confirmed one thing: companies are no longer asking whether to adopt AI, but how to do it without losing control over governance, security, and costs.
At our booth 99, we welcomed dozens of professionals — CTOs, innovation managers, technical teams — with whom we shared the journey we're on with enterprise AI solutions and, above all, how we're helping companies integrate them into their internal processes. Down-to-earth conversations about RAG architectures, agentic systems, observability, and cost management.
On the first day, Stefano Campese, our AI Team Lead, delivered a talk on a real-world use case: Stefano showed how the Deep Search capability of Omnyscient — our agentic enterprise platform — automatically aggregates external sources (scientific publications, LinkedIn, industry news, CVs) and combines them with CRM data to generate structured, always up-to-date customer profiles.
A new approach to customer profiling, designed for teams that need real insights — not simply more data. The audience responded with strong interest and numerous questions, confirming that the gap between "having data" and "having actionable information" is a widely felt challenge across organizations.
The second day featured Federico Agostini, AI Engineer at OMNYS, with a session dedicated to the manufacturing sector. Federico demonstrated how Omnyscient operates as a multi-agent system on Amazon Bedrock, performing auto-inference across relational databases, APIs, OpenSearch indexes, and document repositories — integrating new data sources without having to redesign the architecture each time.
One aspect that drew particular attention was the role of OMNYS's custom retrieval pipelines, which improve answer accuracy in contexts where knowledge is distributed across ERPs, technical documentation, and production line data. The interest was so high that many attendees continued the conversation at our booth to explore how to apply this approach to their own scenarios.
If we had to identify one recurring theme across the conversations over these two days, it would be the transition from AI experimentation to measurable business outcomes. Many companies have already completed proofs of concept but face the challenge of moving them into production while meeting real-world constraints: regulatory compliance, data security, answer traceability, and cost sustainability.
That is precisely the space we operate in. Our Omnyscient platform is built for regulated environments: secure, fully traceable, and compliant by design. As an AWS AI Services Competency Partner, we bring hands-on experience in building enterprise-grade AI systems that work in production.
AI Week 2026 confirmed that we're heading in the right direction. The market is maturing, and companies are looking for partners who can support them not only during the experimentation phase, but throughout the entire journey to deployment.
