Omnys proposed the development of an advanced Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) Agent, integrated with the client’s enterprise databases. This innovative solution was implemented as a customization of Omnyscient, Omnys’ GenAI platform designed to accelerate the adoption of Generative AI technologies.

The key element of the solution was the development of an AI Agent capable of autonomously accessing the enterprise database and retrieving the required information. This was made possible through advanced prompt engineering, which enabled the Agent to accurately understand and interpret user queries, translate them into appropriate database queries, and provide accurate, context-aware responses.

The solution was developed leveraging powerful AWS capabilities, particularly:
- Amazon Bedrock: used as the foundation for implementing the language model behind the AI Agent, ensuring high performance and scalability;
- Amazon ECS (Elastic Container Service): used to orchestrate and manage the containers hosting the various application components, providing a flexible and easily scalable infrastructure.

The AI Agent was designed to:
1. provide quick and intuitive access to information on both current and past products and projects by directly querying the enterprise database;
2. automate responses to complex internal staff queries by understanding the context and delivering relevant information;
3. facilitate data analysis to support decision-making by extracting and correlating information from multiple sources;
4. enhance collaboration between different company departments by providing a single, reliable source of information;
5. optimize product tracking across the entire production chain by providing real-time access to production and logistics data.

The solution was seamlessly integrated with the client’s existing systems, ensuring a smooth transition and rapid adoption by users.
