Brain is an Italian start-up that designed and produced a new wireless telemetry sensor for sports activities, presented at CES 2016 with the aim to launch a crowdfunding campaign.
Brain is an IoT (Internet of Things) device, thought primarily for motorcycling but usable with every kind of sport disciplines, that allows to measure performances thanks to a complete sensors system (for example: GPS+Glonass, temperature sensor, 9-axes, barometer, microphone and much more) capable to measure a large kind of performance characteristics such as: velocity, turn angle, racetrack times, ground-level, breakings, etc. (motorcycling examples).
Brain device aims not only at measuring performances but also athletes security, monitoring some personal physical parameters (pulse, blood group, intolerances, etc.) and it is capable to send an SMS to some phone numbers in case of accident, with position information.
