Development of a digital platform to manage Things Mobile's Big Data

A digital infrastructure designed and developed on AWS for IoT SIM cards Big Data


One of the biggest challenge for most companies today's is to get more competitive by harnessing the huge amount of data they can manage, store and analyze every single day. All of it is not possible with a "normal" digital platform, but it is necessary to be equipped with an infrastructure specifically designed to manage Big Data, like the one Omnys has developed and manages for Things Mobile.

Indeed, Things Mobile, the first global mobile operator dedicated only to the Internet of Things that offers coverage in more than 165 countries around the world and connects to a network of more than 350 roaming operators, needs a platform able to manage, on a daily basis, millions of data collected from IoT SIM cards.

That's why, Omnys has designed and developed together with Things Mobile team, a custom platform, based on best-of-breed technologies on the market, in order to manage, store and analyse data. An infrastructure built upon an architecture that is enhanced for the customer, dynamically scalable (to adapt to future growth), for which we relied upon Amazon AWS services. Omnys is a certified AWS Consulting Partner and 1st Amazon Forecast Partner in EMEA region.
