Thanks to OMNYS, Fiera di Vicenza S.p.A. has been awarded as Digital Innovation 2015 champion and won the Digital Innovation Awards in “Making digital communities” category, assigned during the SMAU fair event, that represents the Italian reference event in ICT and innovation sectors and took place in October, 21st to 23rd, 2015, at Fieramilanocity.
Digital Innovation Award thought by the SMAU Observatory is meant to present and promote the best stories from companies capable of innovating and increasing their business. The award’s main purpose is to start a virtuous experiences sharing process, stimulating companies to get the digital technologies opportunities.
Fiera di Vicenza S.p.A. has won thanks to the “Vicenzaoro - The Boutique Show” app, designed and developed by OMNYS, leading event in Fiera di Vicenza and world reference fair in jewels and gold producers, buyers and lovers.
Vicenzaoro - The Boutique Show app works as an access door to VicenzaOro services and opportunities; it represents a versatile and interactive instrument allowing visitors to orient inside the fair event, to plan their visit among exhibitors and organize business appointments chatting with every single exhibitor.
Based on BEACON technology, it displays the full VicenzaOro exhibitors catalogue with detail sheets containing information and descriptions of every single exhibitor (photo gallery, contacts, events or special communications), allows search filtering and how to get the exhibitor position on map.
Thanks to numerous BEACON (small devices equipped with Bluetooth Slow Energy technology, capable to transmit information to smartphones) installed on the whole fair area, visitor will be automatically informed when he is entering in a new pavilion.
Awards ceremony will take place on Friday, October 23rd, 2015, at 14:30 (PAV.2 - Room1 inside SMAU event in Fiera Milano City).
