Internet / Intranet Sites

OMNYS develops vertica and corporatel websites, by designing  and  developing the content management software architecture (through Portal Server or CMS platofms), the integration with databases and external information systems (through ad-hoc interfaces), the infrastructure monitoring (by using dedicated web-based consoles).

We design and develop Websites in J2EE technology, based on a three-level architecture (3-tier), by using either our own CMS and data integration platform Platinum or other platforms, either open-source or commercial, such as Broadvision, FatWire, JBoss Portal, Liferay Portal, DrupalBEA Portal, IBM Portal Server, Alfresco, etc.

A 3-tier architecture website design requires the implementation of the following three levels:

  • a front-end level (Presentation), made up of presentation web pages and services publication, via CMS applications which support the specs JSR-154 (servlet) and JSR-168 (Portlet). At this level you can bring back the services SOAP publication.
  • a middle-end level (Business logic), made up of a collection of business services dislayed towards the front end, either as a portal or as an external user that makes a connection through a Web Service layer. Typically based on a framework which can implement different J2EE patterns (Session Facade, Value List Handler, Business Delegate, Service Locator, Data Access Objects, Visitor Pattern, Command Pattern, Observer Pattern, Dependency Injection, Model View Controller-MVC);
  • a back-end level (Integration purpose) to integrate all existing systems with which the portal will have to interface. The data access can generally occur in different ways: access to local database with an ORM framework such as Hibernate, access to an external service in a synchronous mode via Web Services, access and data exchange in an asynchronous mode (publish/subscribe) thanks to a system based on JMS code.
