MICROSOFT RESEARCH - UNIVERSITY OF TRENTO CENTER
For the Microsoft Research – University of Trento Center, CoSBi (Centre for Computational and Systems Biology), we have developed the Intranet aimed at management of internal processes.
A collaboration environment which includes a collection of functions accessible via the WEB addressed to the personnel (internal and external) of the Center.
The functions include several bureaucratic procedures (also defined as "modules") which allow the electronic handling of authorisations and requests, according to a defined workflow.
The users of such collaboration environment are profiled on the basis of Role, Groups and Privileges which define their profile and their decision-making level inside the workflow.
