1. Development of a multi-channel Sales Force Automation solution for mobile devices and as a web application
Omnys supplied Capehorn with its mobile Sales Force Automation system for sales activity management, based on mobile devices and GSM/UMTS network connection.
Order entry, Clients data retrieval, Products browsing and request for warehouse availability, Synchronization with the company ERP based on IBM AS/400, Incoming orders checking, Email and fax sending to client to notify the received order, Real-time queries on sales information. A solution addressed to improve quality and efficiency during the selling phase, when the salesman is together with the Client.
Once the mobile version of the SFA solution has been widely proved and its value was highly appreciated, the company took the decision to develop a web-based version of it so as giving its salesforce the chance to manage orders also by any PC remotely.
2. Company website
Capehorn chose Platinum, the CMS and data integration platform from OMNYS, through which the company manages both the Internet and Intranet websites. Platinum was also integrated with the company ERP to provide information specifically addressed to salesforce and company management board.
