Italian Cheese and Wine: a new App by Gambero Rosso

Dec-20-2011 - The first app for PDO Italian cheese thanks to Italian Minister for Agriculture Policies contribution

Gambero Rosso, through a contribution by the Italian Minister of Agriculture Food and Forestry Policies, has published on the App Store the first application aimed at describing the values of Italian PDO cheeses, together with the best Italian wines: Italian Cheese & Wine.

The app provides information about cheeses naming and origin. For each PDO cheese, the best matching wine is also provided.

An interesting section of the app provides videos about how to save, to taste, and to present cheese on a table.

The iPhone and iPad app has been designed and developed by Omnys.
