Jul-22-2009 -We have been officially awarded with the contract to develop a website about the "Trentino as a Lab" initiative

Omnys Lab and WebSS from Trento have been officially awarded with the contract, by Informatica Trentina on behalf of Trento Province, to develop a website concerning the project of technology and know-how transfer between research centers and enterprises.

The TasLab network's main objective is to pave the way for the transfer of know-how produced by research and study centers towards the whole productive environment in the region of Trentino.

The website development has the goal to set up the basic technological infrastructure supporting the TasLab network, in order to provide those tools facilitating a collaboration through Internet, by adopting methodologies based on semantic search and integrating Social Networking features.

The website will be based on the Liferay Portal platform and J2EE technology.
