"The Web of Taxes"

Nov-30-2009 - The new project for the Authorized Tax Assistant company (CAAF) of the Italian Workers' Union (CISL) has been released to manage, via web, real property local taxes

The Authorized Assistant Tax company of the Italian Workers' Union (CISL) has conducted a project named "The Web of Taxes" in order to develop a prototype, in collaboration with University of Verona, aiming at automatically retrieving, from the institutional Italian cities' web sites, all documents (council resolutions) relating with local tax rates and allowances (specifically as far as Real Property Tax - ICI is concerned) and their analysis.

After the prototype phase, CAAF-CISL has awarded Omnys to design and develop the web-based centralized system, in order for their 120 nation-wide branches to manage and use the Real Property Tax rates and allowances data base refered to about 8,100 Italian cities.

The system has been officially presented to the territorial branches managers during the CAAF-CISL annual meeting held in Rome in October 2009. It has been released in production in November 2009.
