Omnys Lab among the architectural platform suppliers for the new tourism website about Trentino

Apr-06-2007 - The Omnys Trento branch office becomes a provider of the new trentino.to website technological architecture

Trento - The main objective of the tourism website second release about the Trento area www.trentino.to, a website thought to promote the Trentino territory from a tourism point of view, is to design and develop an integrated IT system in order to gather, compute, and publish tourism-related information, so as to support the tourism offer about Trentino, by taking care of all different roles of actors involved in the chain: private operators, brokers, public local services, local tourism agencies, etc.

In collaboration with other important actors from the Trentino IT sector, Omnys Lab, the Omnys Trento branch office established in 2002, will contribute to the tecnological infrastructure designing and development for the new website.

Omnys Lab has been selected because it showed optimum ability in architectural design and in integration between systems. Specifically, Omnys Lab is concerned with the Portal Server component, based on the Liferay Portal platform.
